What is a "double degree program"?

Double-diploma education is an opportunity to simultaneously study at two (or more) universities under a joint educational program with the subsequent receipt of diplomas from the relevant universities. One of the priority areas for the integration of Kazakhstani higher education in the international educational space, of course, is double-diploma education.

Double-degree education is an important tool for the entry of Kazakhstani education into the international space. This direction meets the strategic interests of the development of the university in terms of improving the quality of education, scientific research, the competitiveness of the university in the world educational space and corresponds to the basic principles and provisions of the Bologna process of internationalization of higher education.

List of documents for participation in the double-degree education program

• Statement;
• Identification;
• Copy of the passport;
• Current transcript (certified by the official seal of the university, GPA above 3.0);
• Certificates: IELTS, TOEFL (in the absence of certificates, an institutional competition for knowledge of the English language will be organized);
• Letter of recommendation (for undergraduates);
• Motivational letter (in English).
